About Us

I have a daughter (Emma), a Pug (Tootsie), and a Cat named Karen. I love to get outside and explore as much as possible. My hobbies include hunting, fishing, skiing, backpacking, and running. My favorite part about my position is that it’s never boring! I enjoy interacting with our patients and meeting new people. I love going to work each day and working with such an amazing team.

I have 2 sons and 1 dog (Nanog). I started my dental career in 1986 working as a dental assistant. My hobbies include painting, gardening, and hiking with my dog. A fun fact about me is I have held a baby lion. Besides working with such a great crew, my favorite part about my position is doing my best to make patients feel welcomed and appreciated.

I have been lucky enough to be married to the love of my life, Michael, since 1992. I love spending my time with him, rock climbing, soaking up the sun on the beach, taking our dogs on an evening walk, eating good food, watching funny movies, laughing in general, and just about anything else we can do together. We are blessed to have raised 3 children, who are now gifting us with amazingly beautiful grandbabies and grandpuppies! I earned my Associates in Dental Hygiene at Shoreline Community College, in Shoreline, WA in 2009 and I have loved every minute of my career since then! I work with great people, in a great community! I love seeing the impact good oral health has on the overall health of the body and mind. I have also specialized in Myofunctional Therapy, to further assist people in their continued health journey. I look forward to caring for you!

Hi, my name is Tessa!
I was born and raised here in Hamilton, Montana, and feel so blessed to call this place home. After growing up in Hamilton, I had the opportunity to play college softball before pursuing my career in dental hygiene. I completed my prerequisite courses and went on to attend the College of Southern Idaho, where I earned my Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2023.

After graduation, I returned to Montana and recently got engaged to my best friend, Jase! Some of my favorite things to do include shopping at antique stores, coaching sports, going to the gym, and spending time with my dogs.

What I love most about being a dental hygienist is building relationships with my patients and seeing improvements in their oral and overall health. I feel truly grateful to be back in Montana, surrounded by my favorite people.

My favorite hobbies are spending time with my family and friends, traveling to new places, and attending bingo night. A fun fact about me, is that I love to go thrift shopping and watch Dateline. My favorite part of my position is being able to make my coworkers laugh and have a fun environment to work in.

I have 2 kids – my son, Tristyn, and daughter, Aspen. I love camping, concerts, reading, baking/cake decorating, bingo, summertime, and anything that involves spending time with family and friends
A few fun facts about me, I read 1-2 books a week, I’m an auntie to only girls (5 of them) and have the only boy, and I used to be a cake decorator. My favorite part about working at Elk Meadow Dental Care is having such amazing bosses and coworkers. It’s like hanging out wth great friends all day. I also enjoy meeting patients from all different walks of life and being a part (even if small) in their journey to better health and restored smiles.

Blaine (Dr. Sherwood) and I were married in August of 2013. Our kids Annie, Caleb, and Madeline are our greatest blessings. I enjoy running, hiking, backpacking, snowboarding, and spending time with those I love. Watching an old-time movie/tv show in a cozy blanket with a warm mug in hand is one of my favorite ways to unwind. My favorite part about my position is working with our incredible staff and getting to know our amazing patients. We live in a beautiful area filled with beautiful people.
